    • How can I pay for the crossing?

      We have AutoPASS payment solution where you can pay the journey with AutoPASS chip, with FerryPay or receive an invoice. Until further notice it is not possible to pay with AutoPASS ferry card, credit-/debit card or cash. This is temporary due to COVID-19 restrictions and applies to all county road connections.

      In addition to Norwegian AutoPASS chips, you can use chips from foreign service providers, which are part of the EasyGo collaboration, for example BroBizz®, ØresundBizz®, AutoBizz or Go-Box.

    • I have questions regarding AutoPASS, where can I find answers?

    • Can I sit in the car during the crossing?

      Yes, you can sit in the car during the crossing.

    • If I travel without a car, where can I enter the ferry and how much does the crossing cost?

      If you walk or are traveling with bicycle you must board the ferry from car deck. Cyclists must get off the bike when entering the ferry.

      All pedestrians and cyclists travels for free.

    • If I need a special placement of the vehicle on board or assistance when I enter and leaving the ferry, who can I contact?

      Please contact the crew on board, and we will help you.

    • If I've forgotten something on the ferry, where do I go?

      Contact our administration office in Horten.

      Use this form to report items you may have lost on the ferry.

      Please note that all inquiries are answered only during our opening hours. Monday - Friday from kl. 08:00 - 15:30

    • Can I pre-book a seat on the ferry?

      No. Pre-booking is unfortunatly not possible. 

    • Can children travel alone by ferry?

      Children over the age of 10 can travel alone. Children under the age of 10 must travel with a person who has reached the age of 16. However, we point out that the crew has many tasks in terms of traffic flow and safety. A system has not been established to take care of children traveling alone. This is important to think about if you are considering sending the child alone by ferry. If there are groups / school pupils / kindergartens, there must be one companion per. 6 children under 10 years, and one companion per. 10 children between 10 - 16 years.
